Client Goals for 2025

Dear SpyDar Fitness Clients,

As we enter 2025, I want to take a moment to share how I approach each new year. I’m not one to set traditional New Year’s resolutions, but over the last decade, I’ve made specific promises to myself regarding my health and fitness.

For 2025, I’ve set some exciting goals for both my continuing education and my physical challenges. I plan to complete my Functional Anatomy course and continue working on my Menopause 2.0 course by Dr. Stacy Sims. In addition to these educational pursuits, I have a few physical feats I’m looking forward to tackling. One goal is to row a 5K every day for 30 days—though I haven’t decided which month to attempt this challenge. My personal favorite is the Concept 2 1K Bike Erg Split Challenge in July 2025.  If you noticed, I didn’t mention the Concept 2 Holiday Challenge as this wound might be too fresh!

Rachel and I also plan to visit Richmond soon to re-do our annual DEXA scans to track our body composition—a practice we find invaluable. I’d love to help my clients explore this option if it aligns with their goals. Lastly, I’m excited about potentially offering an advanced kettlebell training program, based on client interest. Teaching kettlebells is one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and I’d love to share more advanced techniques with those who are ready for the challenge!

Now, I want to encourage you to prioritize your health and fitness this year by setting your own meaningful goals. Below are a few questions to help jog your thoughts. If you’d like to share them with me directly, I’d love to hear what you’re planning and work with you to make those goals a reality.

1. General Fitness Goals

What are your top three fitness goals for 2025? (Examples: increase protein intake, redefine body composition, increased strength, endurance, flexibility, training for a specific event, overall wellness, purchase a HR monitor etc.   Please feel free to add what works for you.  The examples are here to jog your thoughts!)

2. Specific Strength and Conditioning Goals

Do you have any specific goals related to strength or conditioning? (Examples: lifting a certain weight, mastering kettlebell techniques, improving sprint times, etc.)

3. Lifestyle and Activity Goals

Are there any lifestyle activities or hobbies you want to support with fitness training? (Examples: pickleball, biking, running, hiking, staying active with family, etc.)

4. Training Preferences

Do you have any preferences or feedback on the types of training sessions you’d like to focus on in 2025? (Examples: small group training, personalized at-home programs, kettlebell workshops, cardio, etc.)

5. Challenges and Obstacles

Are there any challenges or obstacles that might affect your ability to achieve your fitness goals? (Examples: time constraints, injuries, motivation, etc.)

6. Progress Tracking

Would you like to track your progress in 2025? If yes, how would you prefer to do so? (Examples: goal-setting check-ins, tracking weights or times in a log, heart rate monitor usage, etc.)

7. Additional Comments

Is there anything else you’d like me to know about your fitness goals, preferences, or how I can better support you in 2025?

Thank you for taking the time to share your goals with me! I’m looking forward to helping you make 2025 a year of progress and achievement.
